Submarine 707 v1

After a few false starts with other projects, I've decided to start Submarine 707. This is a manga from 1963 by Ozawa Satoru, the forefather of “submarine manga”. The appeal to readers at the time was the numerous cameos by real-world ships and submarines (with model kits they could buy!), and to readers now it will probably be mostly of historical interest.

The first 50-ish chapters are one story, which is a sort of boys’ adventure in a military setting. Then there's another, more SF story for another 40-ish chapters, and then a succession of short stories as the manga gradually ends. Some of these were adapted into OVAs at various points, but at time of writing this I haven't actually watched the OVAs yet.

No promises on release speed.
