OctonionicThe title of this chapter references a series of short videos (Japanese) that were aired on TV starting in around 1974. The videos were of insects of various types, with voice-over work providing a plot. It seems like the videos are still for sale, and the series has been revived at least once.
On the first page, the costumed native calls himself Utsuno Ikusagami, a monster from a then-recent film, but due to the way the dialogue is written he might actually be calling himself Usono Ikusagami, which would be a joke meaning “Fake Ikusagami” or something.
